Echometer 5000 PSI Gas Gun

Manually operated gas gun excellent for gas lift, flowing, and high pressure shut-in wells. Most commonly used in implosion mode but can also operate in explosion mode. In implosion mode (usable on wells with casing pressure above 200 PSI), a 1/2" ball valve is rapidly opened to release gas from the well into the volume chamber, generating a negative pressure pulse — no compressed gas source needed. Explosion mode suits low-pressure wells (under 200 PSI) where pressurized gas is available above casing annulus pressure. When dirty, the volume chamber and microphone assembly can be flushed with solvent.
